hi, i am planning on running an internaltional open this weekend (05.25.2012 - 05.28.2012) in palmont with these four races:

chinatown run
construction route
old quarter

only multi-player races will be considered. you may race as many times as you want those 4 days and your best times will be considered.

if you wish to participate, please reply to the thread with your driver name and i will aggregate your times in the results.

I've been planning this contest for a long time now, and i think this is a good time to post the concept here.

You may post out suggestions here in order for this contest to be a successful one

Here's the draft of it tho:

Event Type: Time Attack

Track: Hastings

Laps: 2

Tier: Any

Req. Cars: Any of the following as long as it is stock

Tier 1: Mazda MX5/Nissan Skyline 2000GTR C10/Nissan Silvia S15

Tier 2: Audi A1 ClubSport Quattro, BMW Z4, Lotus Elise, Mazda RX7

Tier 3: BMW M3 GTR/Porsche 959/Lamborghini Murcielago

Conditions: Own the fastest time in the track to win.

Prizes:
There are 3 Prizes to win for the 3 best times, and 5 lucky people for a Random Draw!

Rules:
-No Power-Ups except for Shield and Ready
-Use of third party programs is strictly prohibited
-One entry only, once you were able to send an entry, you are no longer allowed to send a new record.
-People with the fastest time in the contest is required to video his second run.

That video it's actually also my entry, because yes, for the first and probably the last time, I'll be participating at one of my own challenges (as I know I won't win anything with that time so it's more than fair ). Anyone up for another Manufacturer comp? This time there will be no problems with balance. Both are relatively the same in performance lol

- This race is all about the RB26DETT, people. As such, the only two allowed vehicles for this are the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec [R34] and the Skyline GT-R [R32].
- No performance restrictions. You seriously expect tuners to be stock?

- In this challenge, the racer with the fastest time on any of the two tracks wins.
- The first race of this event will be ran on Dover Street, which you shall use either the Charger R/T, the Challenger R/T, or the Charger SRT-8 Superbee. The second race will be ran on Seaside Interchange, where only the Dodge Viper SRT-10 can be used.
- You do not have to do both races. You can choose to run one or the other, or both if you have the resources.
- It is required that you take a screenshot of not only your best time, but at the start where you have to take a pic ensuring you did not use Perfect Launch, although videos are also acceptable. Hacked times and/or photoshopped screenies will be disqualified automatically. (Note: If you suspect any hacked time or photoshopping, please contact me or any other WG Staff member via PM and we’ll investigate.)

Car Restrictions:
- As this is a Dodge-based event, the car you are running must be a Dodge. And yes, the Juggernaut versions are acceptable.
- Run what you brung, buddy. No performance restrictions.

NFS Muscle Car Club Event - KING of Muscles

Here is a great event, all for fun, that was created by our very own SneakerSkunks. Everyone is invited and welcome to join.
-You will need to register with us, new registrants welcome to join!

Need For Speed Muscle Car Club Event - KING of Muscles

Event rules:
1. All drivers must be NFSMCC registered members and must own IGC muscle cars for all three tiers (t1, t2, t3) Car list is bellow.

2. All (t1, t2, t3) muscle cars must be on the same driver's account , no various accounts. One driver name - 3 muscle cars. There won't be possibile to change cars later, so choose your cars for each tier wisely.

3. All IGC Cars without restriction (so put your best parts on them, tune up them well)

4. No powerups allowed in race (all must be disabled) except Nitrous (you can use 2xNOS per single track) use it more and you'll be disqualified from the event. No cheaters allowed.

5. Every event contains 6 different tracks (2 for each tier) and maximum 8 drivers in one group.

6. Everybody has 3 attempts to run the same track in order to have fair races (start possition, lag, traffic and so on). I think its more than enough.

7. If you'll miss one of them, its up to you, you'll lose your points (maximum 30 pts per event) and your possition on the leaderboard.

8. If we'll have a lot of participants, I'll make 2 or 3 groups according driver's level and local zone. Every group will have its own leader . I'll put somebody in charge when i'll have full drivers list.

9. Date and time of the event must be appointed by all drivers in a group by voting. More than a half of the group is needed to run single track event.

10. Tracks will be announced by group leaders just before event, when all the drivers will join their group (all tiered tracks are well known).

11. Any other rules may be added here during competition and in the future.

With the site being very new we are looking for idea's for challenges.

For now we will be doing both but for a community to grow it requires community input.

If your going to compete in the Hot Lap events

If your going to compete in the hot lap events you should be prepared to provide and screen shot as well as optional video of your race.

If your going to be recording your game specifically for PC you will need game recording software. You will need to do some trial and error to see which one you like best and which works best for you.

there are many more but these are the top ones. I personally prefer Growlers Guncam as it does video, screenshots and it's very configurable.
