Cosmic NOS, but no so good handling:
1. Chevrolet El Camino SS
2. Audi TT RS


Very good handling, good NOS (but not cosmic):
1. Lotus Elise
2. Ford Escort RS Cosworth
3. Mazda RX7

I think these are some pretty good IGC T2 cars.

If you want an all-rounder the El Camino is the better choice without doubt. I, however find it hideous and cant stand to look at it. Dont go for the TT RS, it handles like a boat, the El Camino is quite ok when it comes to handling though.

As for the others, the Elise is like a go-kart. However it has weak nos, acceleration and is as heavy as a milk carton. You'll lose a lot of speed just hitting a simple road sign etc and will be rammed hard by other cars. It's fun to drive, but it's not a winner.

Dont bother with the RX7 either, it's even slower than the Elise and handles worst out of the three without cosmic nos.

The Cossie for me is the clear winner. It's one of the most fun cars to drive out of my total of about 50 or so cars. It's a fast car, accelerates good, handles like a dream and has an ok nos. It's not particular heavy though but in the hands of a good driver this car will win you a lot of races. I've won lots of races in this against the kings of T3 even on Campus Interchange/Country Club (says more about them than me though on those two).

Big news... Apparently there has been secret retunes done to the 370Z and EVO X.... matt gave me the retuned data and video for 370Z.



Top Speed: 240-253kph
Acceleration: 171-174kph
Handling: 180-189kph

If anyone can get the EVO X tested, let know.

Very intresting Secret re-tune and quite nice one, even thou 350Z has more acceleration, 370Z has better handling and top speed. I can test EVO X, I'm excited to see if its any good now. I'm gonna update this post as soon as possible, if nobody else hasn't posted test before me

Yep, it's still a tail-happy car, but not so loose like the GTR R35.

Well i'm not sure if this whole VIP badge thing makes me VIP or not, as I haven't recieved any email about it yet (VIP club thingy). I got VIP status back in July 2010 from starter pack preorder. It would be great if I get this VIP thing, would be bit motivated to play a little more .

Remember that there are A LOT of cars with outdated Nitrous tests, so it may not be the weakest

Actually, considering that the Nissan 370Z Roadster is a T2 with +2 NOS, I think it holds the honor of worst NOS in the game.

Decided to help the list and tested the '09 RX-8.
Here's what I got:

Topspeed: 217 km/h
Acceleration: 183 km/h
Nitrous acceleration: +2 km/h (NOS fired as soon as possible after start, is this right way? Same as G35's NOS.)
Handling: 201 km/h (Well this test was pretty hard for first time but this is the best I got after many tries.)

There should be no difference with that... if you are not sure, you can try by firing NOS a different times and seeing the results

There is a huge difference, when I launch it as soon as possible, I get worst possible NOS accel, the later I use it the better speed it gives. Because it's RWD and does burn out when fired as soon as possible. Sapph tried this with G35 too and got better scores than +2 when he launched NOS later.

But I think the test has to be done with NOS as soon as possible or not?

Yes, it makes a HUGE difference when you fire the NOS. The higher gear you fire the NOS in, the bigger the boost. That may make it sound tempting to fire NOS halfway down the track to make a really high NOS score, but DON'T.

I've asked ABDmaster the same question before and his response was that the test is valid if the NOS starts while the car is still in FIRST GEAR.
