Well, even if you said yes, I am going to anyways to bring you a great message.

Today, you have the opportunity to ask Fasckira, our wonderful administratior, Need For Speed Drew, and Need For Speed Torque, as well as any other community leaders, questions about Shift 2 and/or World and/or Hot Pursuit and/or any random fact of life that you wish to question them about. For example, you could ask them, "Will Shift 2 include a night mode?" or "Do you prefer the toilet paper roll going up or over the roll?"

Any and all questions will be considered for asking either Need For Speed Torque, Need For Speed Drew, or Fasckira, and/or any community leaders that choose to join. Questions may be asked in any form, and may be directed at any or all participants in the group. Tomorrow, at approximately 12 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, of which that time may change (plus or minus 2 to 3 hours, depending), I will be, myself, and/or possibly joined by another guest, I'm undetermined who that might be; we will be asking the questions for The Radio Show podcast for the member interviews, in which this isn't a member interview per say, it's more less a group interview, but we will be having fun with it nonetheless.


So! Submit your questions! Any and all questions should be answered, depending on the number of questions and the amount of time they have; naturally.

Question about World: When will world team stop making boost exclusives and begin making free stuff?
Question about Hot Pursuit: Are you going to make more DLC's?
Question about Shift2: There will be any special events???

Important questions regarding car balance:

Are the cars using their true real-life car specs or are some aspects of them... how do I put this... fabricated (such as an Audi TT 3.2 Quattro going 0-60 in 4.6 unmodded) in some spots?

Also, will tiers be arranged by performance or will it be by how common the cars are (like it was in the first shift)?

There will always be stuff for Boost. Whether or not they'll eventually become free... well... you'll have to wait just like the rest of us.

Is Shift2 by any chance more keyboard-friendly than the first Shift?

Why are the aftermarket parts in World priced differently when they're the same? Like neons and window tint with different prices based on color choice. (So not fair! I would get it if the neon was like glowing or something)

Would you say Shift 2 is just Shift with a DLC pack that contain Autolog, new cars, new tracks, new events, and a new career mode?

Will there ever be a place in World where you can share your vinyl layout with other players?

1. With the release of team escape coming up, will there be special powerups or skills released along with it?

2. Do you have any plans of ever making hot pursuit cross platform?

3. Has the handling physics changed comparable to shift 1?

4. How detailed is the damage model in game and does the game affect your car according to it's damage? <---Shift 2

1 - There will be Team Escape events available for exclusive tier 1, tier 2 & Tier 3 cars?

2 - There will be more variety of vinyls in Shift 2 than the first one? and reflection
of the same to facilitate the customization of the car?

I don`t think asking questions that have already been answered is a good idea. They will pick them for sure, so we won`t get answers at things we didn`t know.

Like those:

With the release of team escape coming up, will there be special powerups or skills released along with it?
Yes. They said that n times, some of the players have already started to receive team powerups.

Has the handling physics changed comparable to shift 1?
Yes. They said they started it from scratch, and now it is 100% sim, unlike the forst one which was 60% sim 40% arcade.

Will this game support "split-screen" on one PC, how it was, for example, "Blur"?
No. They said it in a video (can`t remember which). I bet the game is a great resource eater, so rendering two totally different scenes on the same PC at the same time would be a pain in the ass.

Other than that, great questions, and I`d love to hear an answer for most of them.

Right, Ive compiled the questions that havent already been answered in my notes and Im about to interview one of the lead dudes just now. We can still do the podcast later this evening with Drew but Im going to get these proper game related questions out the way now.


For everyone asking HP and World questions, this is a Shift 2 day with Shift 2 devs, they cant actually answer any of these! Ill be going through the other ones this evening though with Drew though so you can get some answers from that one.
