Minecraft Server


Current Server Version: 1.8.1
Working Time: (7am-10pm EEST)


3.Username Registration and logging
- After Joining the server you'll be asked to register your username. Write "/register <password>" where "<password>" is your password.
Example "/register zomg311"
Now the name "pepo930" can only be used with the password "zomg311"

-If you already registered your username with a password write the following when entering the game:
"/login "<password>" where "<password>" is your password.
Example: "/login zomg311"

4.Breaking/Placing blocks

Instructions:

1.Setting Up Minecraft
-Download and Install JAVA
If you don't have a Premium Minecraft account, download MinecraftSP.exe in order to change your name and update the game
-Open "RUN" from start menu and type "%AppData%"
-Open ".minecraft"
-Open "bin" folder and place the MinecraftSP.exe there and then run it
(sometimes you get an error and takes up to 5 retries)
-Type your name and enable "Force Update"
(Force Update isn't required at every startup, just when new updates are released)

2.Joining the server
After you updated minecraft and connected to the Hamachi Network, simply:
-Start Minecraft
-Select Multiplayer and connect to the following IP address
78.142.45.143
-If in any case this doesn't work, try 192.168.1.110or 5.12.42.106

Sign Layout:
- Line 1: Gate Name (Max 11 characters)
- Line 2: Destination Name [Optional] (Max 11 characters, used for fixed-gates only)
- Line 3: Network name [Optional] (Max 11 characters)
- Line 4: Options [Optional] ('A' for always-on fixed gate, 'H' for hidden networked gate, 'P' for a private gate, 'F' for a free gate, 'B' is a backwards gate (You will come out the back), 'S' is for showing always-on gates in their destination list)

Lockette:

Put a sign near your Door/Chect and type "[Private]"

Portal Gun:

Portal gun = Golden Sword. Anti-fall damage boots = Diamond Boots
Liquids, Minecarts, Boats also travel trough portals. Player's momentum is preserved. Portals can be placed only on smooth stone.

ChopTree:

Trees get chopped down by removing the lowest block.

Tombstone:

When you die, the items from your inventory will be placed in a chest. The chest will be located where you died.

is hamachi mandatory?
because i was able to play on the server before, without having hamachi installed.

Everything is the same as before.
Only the Hamachi ID changed and the Server IP.

I think you should be able to connect to the server without Hamachi.

When its updating it says:

Failed to launch

C:/xxxxx/xxxx/Appdata/roaming/.minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar (Access denied)

Help please.

I run MinecraftSP.exe from the bin folder as aadministrator and same thing happens.

Sadly this server is up around 5AM to 2PM my time during which I'm at school, at least I can play on weekends. I'm still really glad you got the server set up though, I just wish it was 24/7, but I know that's hard to set up

Whoa at first I thought you were talking about the portal mod. But that's for sp. But making nether work in mp is pretty cool.

I meant the Portal mod where you shoot blue and orange portal... It is on WG server.

There is a Nether Portal Mod that allows you to go trough the Obsidian Portals to the Nether.

And there is a Portal Gun Mod (Like the game Portal) that lets you place Orange and Blue Portals on Metal Blocks and Stone (Smooth Stone)
