Did you noticed that they changed the look of Ellie compared to the first trailer?

"After delving further into the game's narrative over the past few months, we decided to modify Ellie's model to better reflect Ashley's personality, and also resemble a slightly younger teen more fitting to the story," Druckmann explained. "We're happy with the final result shown in the cinematic we have released today, and hope the fans like her too."

Great trailer ruined with an awful song

I was reading an article in a local gaming mag about this and theymade it out to be another zombie game and that the devs got inspired on the story based on some documentary on mushrooms mutating ants and how it could carry on to people over time. Now, I'm not sure how much of that was well documented, but it was pretty funny to read.

No way I'll get to play this. As much as I am excited for this I don't feel motivated enough to get a console just for one game. Counting there will be someone to post a full playthrough on Youtube that I could watch.

I'm looking foward to see that new footage that ND is planning to show at E3, it's going to win the show imo unless GTA V is there too.

Watching a playthrough will get really boring at some point. You miss the tension you get when you play
Anyways, you could wait for a little while and check if they're going to make a sequel/prequel to it, then it'd be totally worth it i guess

There was a console only game recently, I am alive, that I had to settle for just watching online. I watched the one by TheRadBrad who has a voice like Sard's that's so mellow and puts me to sleep, but the game itself was entertaining enough to keep me watching. Then again, that's a short game.

I found I Am Alive a horrible game to play. Already got fed up with the demo.

Anyways, everybody has it's preferences. And i understand that.
The PS3 isn't exactly one of the cheaper consoles out there (actually the most expensive, not?).
