Originally sold under the Altezza nameplate (in its home market of Japan), the IS line of cars is Lexus’ entry-level luxury sportscar that wants to run down the competition here at NFS World!

Boasting a V6 developing 350 horsepower, the IS model range provides a sporty handling, rear wheel drive sedan for the refined palette. The chassis has been campaigned in the Japanese Super GT race series (GT300 class).

Lexus had to design a sedan with expanded performance and quality to combat the ever dominant competition.

The point of this is to introduce a new car that is pointless enough for the customers, they will make it IGC later on.

But I would buy it. It's just that, is it really grippy? Is it fast enough? Because this is the predecessor of the IS F, and the IS F is poor now a decent Tier 2 vehicle, but somewhere behind. So I think it's not fast enough because the performance has to be reduced so the IS F remains the faster Lexus saloon.

Well, the original "Toyota Altezza GT300 Touring Car"(don't quote me on the name, but I'm pretty sure it's correct) Was based on the IS 300, so yeah. Also, I miss the IS 300 as well. I pretty much wtf-pwned the living sh*t out of the whole NFS:MW carrer with it.
