Bans will start rolling after the next update when the game client will probably receive an anti-cheat update. After that all 3rd party programs that affect the game will be logged or reported.
After that they'll be reviewed and actions will be taken if the tool allows illegal operations (cheating in most cases).

Until then you'll be able to safely use hacking or others tools.

People seem to be missing the missing that. So as long as you don't daily hack or break the ToS excessively, I don't see a mass ban coming.

I doubt it to be honest. It doesn't give people a sneak peek of what may or may not be coming to the game, nor does it make cars push performance not possible by even an Pro Tuned Overall GT3 RS.

It would be nice to get rid of the cheaters, but.... I have run a website and MMORPG. The truth is that no matter what you do, no matter how often you tighten security, the cheats will find a work around within hours. It will never be stamped out completely.

Well! This makes me glad that I'm clueless when it comes to hacking. I just hope I don't be among the innocent bystanders that gets mistaken for a cheater. You know that there's always that risk......

I was analyzing the cheap speedboost stuff, I noticed that if you want to buy with a low price, you have to give an adress of the country that this SB is being purchased from (in most of cases, false address). ToS says about fraud, and someting about informing correctly yous address. Maybe I being paranoid, but it violates ToS, so if it violates ToS and the "Hammer of ban" will get cheaters and "anyone violating the ToS" I think there is a little chance that who is buying cheap boost get banned, but I'm not sure of that...

Ps.: I know that Julien and some others devs said that won't be banned and stuff, but ToS says other, so who should I thrust? A dev or a law contract? I will still not risk my account... haha

It would be stupid if they did ban everyone that bought cheap speedboost, even if only because of the sheer amount of people that is likely to have bought the cheap speedboost.
