TBH what they should do is make ALL cars COMPETITIVE not kings.....
and by all cars I mean even the kings...
Also the stats should also play some role as in higher stats=better chances against other...
So that every car has a fighting chance.
Cars that needs to be retuned/improved/

the problem with this argument (and the entire topic) is one that all of you know already. if they redid that many (or all) cars to reflect an arcadey version of their real-life counterparts it would be a LOT of work. something the dev are clearly not willing to do for this game. it's been out about 2 years (depending on whether you count beta or not). and it would make a lot of cars that people had spent real money on pretty much useless overnight.
more importantly, if they set it up so that all the cars (within each tier) were more or less even they would have several different problems. first and most obviously, it defeats the purpose of having boost cars they can get real money for from people who want to win as much as possible. second, once you did this (and presumably moved some cars up and down tiers) the cars would not even come close to their real-life versions. a CCX should destroy cars like M3 GTR E46 or R8 - not that they're slow, but the CCX has like double the power. obviously this is already a problem. third, once you've done that, what about parts? my elise gets creamed by pro-tuned elises, as it should. but if they're all given a fighting chance, then parts are made irrelevant.
just a thought:
is it possible that since they're taking cars from some past games that they're basically porting over the performance values too, and since the physics of this game are a little different, cars from different games and with different characteristics are behaving really differently from what we'd expect? i know many cars in world are new to the series, but this could explain some of it right? like most heavier cars being boats and lighter ones having decent handling. or am i completely wrong here?
now that i'm done playing devil's advocate i'll admit i want them to change the game too. either making many cars closer to real life or making each tier more or less even (like in MW, when they were max-tuned they were equal-ish). i don't pay for boost at all, i just don't think it will happen other than one or two cars every few months.

as for the boost part - i made this argument in another thread -
if you even up the performance/match up performance with a lot of the cars, then ea can make all the cult classics boost cars - evo, sti, rx7, supra, on and on
people will be more willing to buy the car if it's a competitive one, instead of just buying the "tier kings"
sorry for old thread bump
