Rumors have it that Criterion is developing this title and as Hurley just posted in the status updates it may actually be Most Wanted 2

What are you guys hoping to see from this

i have no hopes or wants for the next NFS but i just hope they continue with their current tread of getting back to the early NFS titles in feel and type. i personally think NFS has moved away from the fast and furious type of racing and customization found in underground through till carbon

Don't think it'll be Most Wanted 2 as there's already pretty much a sequel to MW which is Carbon.
I'd place my bets on Hot Pursuit 2.. or 2012.. or something like that

Maybe MW2 will continue from where Carbon ended which continued from where MW ended and after MW2 we'll get Carbon 2

Though tbh I call "Hogwash!" on the whole affair. Most Wanted had a sequel - it was called "Carbon". I can't see the logic in releasing a game merely called "Most Wanted 2" when theres been a sequel already. Even if they planned to continue the storyline from Carbon, I'd have hoped they could have at least come up with a new name rather than just taking "2" onto the end.

Then again, its Criterion. When it comes to naming games they have the creativity of a dead duck.

I saw a video some weeks ago, where they showed racing games of 2012, like "Dirt Takedown" and other games but in the info said that one of the coming games this year is Hot Pursuit 2012, I googled it and I found a page saying the same ._, what Im almost sure is that Criterion is making the new NFS title!

With arcadey handling? I can't imagine a new NFS city that is like what BB would make, with HP handling...

Whatever they do let's hope it'll be at least as decent as HP 2010... not the greed from NFSW or The Run with the graphics that require super-PCs if not for a console. As for the name, it's indeed a fail to call it Most Wanted 2 as that was Carbon... even a bigger fail if it'll disappoint.

2 thinks i like to see on the next NFS:
1.good customization options with the merge of HP 2010's graphics will make such an NFS a kick-ass game.

FYI, unless the above was irony, the Run was developed on consoles (not on PCs like the other Frostbite 2 game, BF3) that's why it was capped to 30 FPS and that's why your graphics won't change even if you set them to Ultra, they'll be always on Minimum settings (BF3 console versions are set to Minimum settings, so is The Run). You can run a game with a 2-3 year old graphic card like the 9800GT in 1080P perfectly.

Shift series is boring! I don't want sim. ProStreet had very good feeling, every game mode was enjoyable, it had good carlist, nice tuning, great soundtrack. That game feels so fresh and makes me happy everytime i play it.

Maybe the title "Most Wanted 2" is because will be in Rockport once again, because the real sequel is Carbon.

My opinion is that the title doesn't have anything to do with Most Wanted and Carbon(If it's truth), think of it as something similar to Hot Pursuit with a story.
