Namco Bandai will soon be stopping their DLC push that heavily destroyed reputation of their games with the launch of Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

We must be thankful for Katsuhiro Harada and Namco Bandai for allowing this action to take place. Harada once said that characters are like chess pieces, you need all of them to win the game.

Such games that have it's rep ruined thanks to DLC which comes from Namco Bandai are:

I expect the sales of TTT2 to be very successful. If it would I reckon Namco Bandai will eventually stop all the DLC bullcrap for all their titles.

If it is because of Ridge Racer, do note that their DLC whoring activities are still in effect as Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is serving as a test run. There is still $2 DLC machines (cars), $4 DLC tracks, and $1 DLC songs.

You should get Touch My Katamari instead, it is for PS Vita and it is really fun, but I think they also got the whoribble DLC scheme. If you have a foreign PSN account that was served as a location for the PS Vita launch, then you're in luck to find the Gold Pass and Silver Pass available for Ridge Racer.

If you don't you would have a really bad time. Originally it is demo sized: 3 tracks, 5 machines.

EA: The founder of "overpriced DLC". Harbors the laziest of developers, and implies that they follow their fans. Not to mention, one of their goals is to steal your money.

Speaking of EA, what about Activision's activities?

That's what I keep asking, what happened to the actual evil game publisher?

The only character in SoulCalibur V that need to bought was Dampierre and he's not all that good. The DLC customization parts are worth the money. Only customization or music should be DLC. Not whole characters. That's why Street Fighter X Tekken got bad. They have 12 characters in the disc that need to be bought to be unlocked at a unknown date. DLC will continue but it will be for small things. I hope characters will never be DLC again cause it's not fair to those who can't get that person. The customization things are just extra and you don't need to buy it unless you like to make custom things.
