Well sorry for the lead up on the subject line, but I am in a bit of a quandry. I have been playing Shift2UL with the extras and throughout I have saved videos, taken pictures etc, now I see where they are in my Docs file with the MED File type, clearly the File type is not "normal" and needs something to play and view them. Can some clever person here tell me what is the way to view these files and actually make them into a Jpeg.
I have several types of picture viewers installed and also Photoshop, but nothing likes the files, I just get "Invalid Image" So please can someone help?
Thankyou in advance. Giggin (BexVerbatim in Shift2 and other places...)

Actually there is no way of doing so. You'll have to download them off the Shift 2 Autolog site, but that's down for now. The best you can do for now is use Bandicam or some other screen capture software to take a picture of your picture.

Hi krieger, thanks for that. I suspected it was in there and checked last night and no matter how I got to the Autolog, I got the same page which didn't lead me to my pictures. I would get so far and then I got the site saying "It's under wraps" Looks like they have blocked out everything as I can't access the dashboard at all Including The Run. I will keep checking when I have time.

Update, I've got in eventually. Have had lots of problems with Autolog in the past, one very long issue that was EA's fault, as compensation I was given BF3. The issue went on for 2 and a half months with lots of messages past between each other and several long live calls. Anyways it's sorted now, thanks for your help Krieger

Wonder if they'll ever bring it back online.

I backup my replays into zip files in another directory. Since the replay names aren't descriptive, I name the zip file after the car and track so I know what's in the replay (.med) file.
Note, the shift 2 autolog web site has been shut down, so you can no longer see player stats. I don't know if this also means that replays and images can no longer be shared between players. If you go to ea games and choose shift 2, all you get is advertisments and links to purchase the game.
If you want to share a replay, you can put it in a zip file, send the zip file to another player, and the other player can extract the .med file from the sip file into the media directory and then view the replay (using autolog gallery). You could also make a video and post it on youtube.
