Hi, Having finally, nearly, perhaps, maybe, worked out how to keep my Porsche on the road albeit still a bit floaty using PC controls I would like to move to a steering wheel. One of the reasons is that my fingers and wrist bear the brunt of the hard hits but the other is that I want to look cool when the grandkids are watching :- The problem is that I need all of the controls on the steering wheel as my feet don't work. Long story but I broke my back when I was a kid and that's a prick to say the least so I have to drive my 'real' car with hand controls as well so if anyone has any suggestions for a steering wheel for Shift 11 unleashed it would ne appreciated.
Cheers

Hi & welcome to WG :)

I enjoy racing with a wheel but imho Shift 2 has severe input lag with a wheel, if you can i would try Shift 1.

On topic: Ideally you could do with a wheel that has large paddle shifters to help you with your problem, The G25 is a great wheel, (I play with a DFGT but that wouldnt be apropriate because the paddles are more like buttons)

So yeah if you're on a budget get a G25 & if you have a bit of cash a G27 or if you're a millionaire get a thrustmaster t500 :P

Hi Danwise. Thanks for helping with my little problem. Is it right that I can do away with the pedals on the G27 and programme the accelerator, brake etc on the steering wheel? I looked at the thrustmaster t500 and while I can afford it (I am old) I am not sure that I can lift it from all acccounts.

Yeah you can, all you need to do is download Logitech profiler & that will allow you to map different buttons, adjust FFB strength etc.. When you get the wheel try RaceRoom2 (Thats another sim which you may enjoy if you like shift :))

If you buy a T500 im moving into your house lol, that wheel is just Uber!
