WG's most famous drivers get challenged too often IMHO (Lambo has done 9 races so far, Unique 7 and several more people with 5 races as least, while the others have 2-3 race...

About Me
Hey there! Hmmm, something about me? Let me think.
I'm currently living in Spain, for 9 years already, but I was born in Kaunas, Lithuania. I'm 21 years old, so I moved to Spain when I was 12.
My interest in NFS started a little bit after NFSU came out. I was still living in Lithuania and was a kid by then so I tried that game on my new PC and I loved it. I remember that I played NFS before trying NFSU because I had a PS One with Hot Pursuit & Porsche Unleashed. Nice games those two. Although, I didn't realize by then that there existed something like "NFS Series" because I still was a child, I think I was like 8-9 years old when I first tried the original Hot Pursuit at a cybercafé.
Half a year after getting my new computer I moved to Spain with my mother, as she was trying to find a job there. At the beginning I had no internet connection at home so I found NFSU2 a little too late but still, it was before NFSMW came out. I remember that I finished the career mode 8 times (my game copy wasn't original, I bought it later) and after that started playing it's online modes. It was really great, I reached Elite rank in less than 2 weeks and could experience the awesome drift mode with some of the best drifters there ever existed (almost all with their GTIs, just as me, but there was one really damn good with a Subaru Impreza). But that ended pretty quick: search engine was a mess and people stopped playing NFSU2 online not too much later.
After that, I found out about NFSMW, at the german NFS-Planet site (www.nfsplanet.com) and I liked it, really. Tried the demo before it came out and bought the game on the first day it came out (and I'm not one of those who buy new games every month or two). Although, my graphic card was a pretty low generation one (it was an nVidia GeForce 5200FX+) but I managed to play MW kinda well with it. I first finished the career mode, with awesome pursuits and story line, I really loved it, and then started playing online. I got addicted to the Drag mode almost instantly. First with the M3 GTR and after that with the Lamborghini Murciélago, which resulted to be the fastest car for drag mode after me with some QBC (from Quebec) guys discovered it. And then the hackers appeared and messed it all up so we (or at least me) quit it. But it's one of the best NFS I've ever played.
Played Carbon too. I remember people saying that it's career mode was very poor and short but, IMO, it wasn't that bad! Though it was too short for sure. But I didn't really care as there were many challenges and badges to complete (the challenge series, for example). And after that an online mode which wasn't very active, I dunno why exactly.
Wall of text, lol.
So. Pro Street came out. And I didn't really like it (without even mentioning that I started playing it too late). Mainly because of the weird, in my opinion, handling. I didn't even complete it nor played it online.
Then it was time for Undercover which at first had a lot of spectation but wasn't that good after all, like some said, though I kinda liked it's storyline, cinematic style and the variety of cars.
Shift was a pretty decent game, unlike Pro Street, and I really liked it. Though, again, didn't play it that much, mainly because I had lots of problems with my computer back then.
Hot Pursuit by Criterion is one of the better ('better'? Yes, 'better', not 'best') 'new' NFS titles I've played.
About the last two NFS titles... I haven't had the chance to try Shift 2: Unleashed yet, I suppose I'm hoping to get an original copy some day and try it then.
The Run seems to be a pretty decent title too, I'm really looking forward to try it.
That's how my passion about cars started, with the NFS and, how not, the Fast & Furious movies.
Though I'm already 21 years old I have no license because I'm still studying and, mailny, because getting a license here isn't a very easy thing to afford (it costs around 1000€ to get you one, yep). That's kinda sad but I'm trying to satisfy my need of cars by trying to learn about them through games, movies, websites (Speedhunters for the win!) while I try to earn some money for that damn license ^^
